Growing up in the South a coal miner’s son had its challenges. And life didn’t get easier after joining the military. “Escaping” into what awaited me in the Army only hastened my spiraling degradation into a life of drug addiction.
This is not a story of how bad I had it, but instead about the fact that I am still alive to make a better life for myself and those I love and care about. Inspiration is a powerful and contagious thing that can show any individual that anything is possible, as long as you don’t give up.
My autobiography, A Coal Miner’s Son, is being released this year. When reading it, you will be affected in many ways. You will cry and you will laugh. You’ll feel anger and experience some happiness … among other things.
Preorder the book, A Coal Miner’s Son, to be sure you get a copy before the first print run is sold out. Quantities will be limited by the publisher.
Feel free to roam around my author Website. I have interesting information throughout, about the South, the army, the KKK, sex abuse, addiction … and much more. This site will grow over time, and as you come back again and again, you won’t be disappointed or bored.
